Marian

Co-Convenor

After 30 years of teaching Marian is now College Archivist at two schools. Passionate about Arts, Education, and History. Working with this fabulous committee has been a personal, and professional, privilege.

Joanne

Chair of the Program Committee 

Joanne is an academic in the Faculty of IT at Monash University, celebrating 20 years since she rocked up to start her PhD there this August. She’s passionate about archival and recordkeeping scholarship and our role in accountability, transparency and social justice agendas.

 
 

Catherine

Secretary/Co-Convenor 

Catherine has 20+ years in Archives and Records Management, across Education, Construction and Mining.  She is the College Archivist for Xavier College and is also Conference Secretary, National School Archives SIG Convenor and Victorian School Archives SIG Network Coordinator. 

Brigid

Brigid has worked in School Archives for over twenty years and is committed to creating supportive and professional opportunities for “lone arrangers” to share ideas and solutions.   

Chris

Chris is an Information Governance Consultant. She has been in the industry for 20 years, coupled with qualifications in all GLAMR disciplines, and professional memberships of ALIA, ASA, RIMPA and the ICA she helps organisations meet information management best practice and compliance.

Elliot

Elliot is a queer archivist and researcher living on stolen Wurundjeri land. Their PhD at Monash focuses on participatory (re)description of queer records in institutional archives. They are an Archivist at La Trobe University, and serve as a committee member of the Australian Queer Archives (AQuA), and the ASA Victoria Branch.

Julie

Julie has worked at PROV since 1998, currently Senior Manager, Government Recordkeeping with responsibility for appraisal, archival description, records transfer and digital preservation programs. Melburnian since the late 1970’s, mother of two daughters and a black & white cat named Felix.

 

Sophie

Sophie is the Digital Information and Data Archiving Lead at the Bureau of Meteorology. She has degrees in arts, TESOL, and information management. At the Bureau of Meteorology the archives include paper, film, instruments, digital data, and air - honestly. An air collection.

Susannah

Susannah is a Senior Records Officer with Monash University. She has a keen interest in expanding current recordkeeping capabilities for the next generation of technologies. She strives for greater user experience and continual service improvement.

Theresa

Theresa has worked in archives for 20 years with a special interest in digitisation and collection access. She is currently working in school archivist and records manager roles at two Melbourne schools. 

Violet

Violet is a PhD Candidate at Monash University, and Archives and Record Coordinator at Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand. Drawing on her own lived experience, her PhD project investigates the recordkeeping needs of victim-survivors of intimate-partner violence.
