Please note that photographs will be taken throughout the event and may be used for marketing purposes.

Virtual Attendance

All delegates attending the conference virtually concede that recording and distribution of any 2 conference presentations is not permitted.

Delegates who have registered for virtual attendance cannot attend the conference in person, unless their virtual registrations are transferred to an onsite registration at least one week prior to the event. The price difference will be invoiced accordingly.

All delegates wishing to attend the conference virtually need to register individually, shared accounts are not permitted.

Returns and Cancellations

If you test positive to COVID-19 during the conference, immediately notify the event organisers. Also contact the ASA Office to discuss a possible refund of the difference between the in-person attendance price and the virtual attendance price.

In the event that the National conference is cancelled, a full refund will be made. Every effort will be made to notify registrants well ahead of the event date so that travel arrangements etc may be cancelled. We are, however, not liable to pay any incurred costs resulting from any postponement or cancellation.

Registrations

Unless otherwise specified, all registrations for ASA events are subject to the Terms and Conditions set out below:

  • Registrations: Completion of this registration means that you are liable for the fee owed. Payment must be received by the ASA Inc prior to the conference.
  • Payment Terms: Payment can be made upon registration by credit card, or an invoice may be requested. This will be sent electronically. Payment of the invoice is required within 30 days of its issue. Registration at an event is not confirmed until payment is received and a confirmation from the ASA is received.
  • Methods of Payment: Payments are accepted in Australian dollars and include 10% GST. Payments of invoices can be made by EFT and credit card (Visa / Mastercard).
  • Cancellations: Cancellation of conference registrations received in writing at least 14 days prior to the first day of the event will be refunded in full. Less than 14 days notice, a 50% refund will be given. Notice of conference registration cancellations must be received in writing and submitted by email.
  • Substitutions and Name Changes: Substitutions are acceptable at any time. If you have registered as a member, but need to substitute with a non-ASA-member, the difference will be invoiced. To inform us of a name change, please email the events team.
  • Registrations for events or conferences are for that event only and cannot be transferred to an alternative event. If you cannot attend an event, please use our refund arrangements.
  • Event Cancellation: if the onsite event is cancelled for any reason the conference will go ahead as a virtual event, your registration will be automatically transferred and detailed instructions on how to attend will be sent.
